Promoting and participating in community based planning that integrates land use, transportation, and community values. Affecting and changing existing California processes and functions to reflect relevant community values. Developing partnerships to enhance community based transportation planning approaches at local, regional, and state levels. Developing technical and program expertise in community based transportation planning and public participation techniques. Enhancing California's leadership role in planning by integrating community based transportation planning approaches in planning processes. Providing incentives that further support community-based transportation planning at all levels. Allowing the development of transportation projects that enjoy public support and are easier to develop and deliver because of consistency with community values.

We request that you limit your inputs and comments to transportation and land use issues relevant to our planning profession.

Subscribe to CBTP by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members.
